1. Start with a baked pie crust -pastry or graham cracker crust
  2. Pour 2 cups of fresh blueberries into crust
  3. Then in a small saucepan, heat and keep stirring for about 10 minutes the following ingredients:
  • 2 cups of blueberries
  • 1/4 cup of cold water with 3 tbsp of corn starch for thickener
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • Cool slightly then pour over the fresh blueberries in the pie crust. Chill in the refrigerator and serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
